Open House Mondays
Northern Kentucky University's Haile Digital Planetarium, is used by the Department of Physics and Geology for university classes and for visiting school groups. All of these classes are scheduled in advance, but there is an opportunity for you to visit our planetarium without planning a group visit.
Every Monday at noon there will be an open show so that anyone that is on the NKU campus can come in and see a program.
Some details
- Our planetarium is a theater classroom with 61 seats under a 30-foot diameter dome.
- Shows are Mondays from second Monday in September through the last Monday in April.
- The planetarium is closed for national and university holidays.
- Doors open at noon and the show starts at 12:05 p.m.
- It is very dark during shows and presentations so please remember there are no late admissions into the theater.
- Tickets are available at NKU at the Information Desk in the Student Union and in the Science Center room 204 and 409.
